The EddyCentre basic model is a 1 dimensional numerical model which solves the forward problem of predicting the air-cored probe response from any multi-layered planar or cylindrical work-piece. The EddyCentre basic model also models the electric and magnetic fields created by the probe in any region of a defect free work-piece, the incident fields.
