Use the File menu's Exit command to close the control. Closing the EcImpdDisplay control removes the EcInspection control and reallocates the screen space.

When in sweep mode, the display will wrap back to the beginning of the Display screen after Sweep Size number of data points have been drawn. The default Sweep Size is 100. Use the Sweep Size command to change this size.
Use the X Screen Divisions and Y Screen Divisions command to change the number grid lines drawn on the Display screen.
Use the View menu to control the way the EcImpdDisplay appears and operates. A typical view of the View menu is shown in the Figure below.

When the EcImpdDisplay control is added to an EcInspection control, one channel toggle entry, displaying the channel's name, is added to the Channels menu for each modelled channel. The default behaviour for the EcImpdDisplay control is to display data from all channels, so the Channel commands are marked with a tic, to indicate they are active in the EcImpdDisplay. To activate/deactivate any of the channels at any time, simply click on the desired channel. This will toggle the display causing activated channels to be displayed on the Display screen and deactivated channels hidden. Note; channel information will still appear in the Pull-down Channel list for deactivated channels.
You have a choice of two types of beam modes when using the EcImpdDisplay control:
X-Y or Time Sweep. To change the current Beam mode use the Beam Mode menu as
shown in the Figure below. You simply click on the desired mode. The currently
selected mode is shown with a tic.

Use the screen units menu to select the type of filter to apply to the data
signals. For X-Y Beam Modes, the signal is a complex pair (X,Y) and the list
of filters that can be used appear are shown in the Figure below. All these
filters a complex number to a real number.

For Time Sweep Beam Modes the choice of Screen Units is different. The menu list appears in the Figure below.

The default behaviour of the EcImpdDisplay control is to optimise the scale for each of the active channel's signals automatically. Click on the Common Scale toggle if you want all the channels to be displayed with a Common Scale. For example, you might use a common scale when studying lift-off signals from various materials.
