The File menu is shown in the following Figure.
File menu
Use the New command to create a new Inspection object.
The Inspection currently loaded in the Inspection control will be abandoned
and any changes will be lost. A message box will warn you that this is about
to happen and will allow you to cancel the New command if necessary.
The Open command allows you to open an Inspection file available on your local
computer/network in the Inspection control. As in the New command above, all
changes to the current Inspection will be lost.
The Download command allows you to download a different Inspection from our
website www.eddycentre.com. You simply type the desired name, i.e. Insp00100
and the Inspection control will attempt to download it for you. The file will
be read only - so you will not be able to save it to your local disk/network
however.
You must be a registered user before you can download files. Please go to our
website www.eddycentre.com for more information about registering.
The Print command allows you to print a copy of the current state of the Inspection
control.
The Save command allows you to save a copy of the current Inspection to your
local disk/network. The Save As command allows you to rename the Inspection
file before saving.
The Submit command enables you to submit Inspections to our Technical support
staff for modelling using our EddyCentre Modelling software. You must be a registered
user at the Practitioner level to have the authority to submit Inspections for
modelling.
If you have the correct authorization, you should see the following message
box appear.
The Inspection is submitted as an e-mail and, as described in the message box,
it must first be saved to disk. We suggest you use the name of the same reference
from our web page, but you are free to choose any name you like.
Once you have saved the file, your e-mail system should capture the e-mail
request and you should see something like the Figure shown below.
If for some reason this process fails just send the e-mail manually to info@current.co.uk and include the file and Inspection file reference that you were given.
