The EddyCentre Lab controls can be downloaded from our web site. They are in self-extracting executable files, which, when executed, install and register the ActiveX controls on your machine.
The EddyCentre Laboratory will operate with just the Inspection Controls. However, to be able to view or record the eddy-current signals as they are generated by the EcInspection control, you will need to use our EddyCentre Display controls. They can be downloaded and installed individually. All our Display controls all need the EcInspection control to be installed correctly before they will run in our Laboratory.
To facilitate downloads of new controls and releases, we have separated the system libraries and controls that are necessary to run our EddyCentre controls. You will need to download and install this just once as these libraries will not change. If you are a Visual Studio user you will probabably will not need to download these libraries and controls, as they will be on your system already. When installing these controls, the install script will warn you if the current library (.dll) or control (.ocx) is newer than those in the download and you are given the option to over-write these files. We do not recommend that you over-write your system DLL or OCX files, doing so may stop your system from working correctly.
